Avoid Wedding Budget Disasters

Being very active in the wedding reception business,  I have seen many stressed brides.  The most common reason brides get stressed is because they don’t properly plan a wedding budget.

  Avoid Wedding Budget Disasters

Tip #1     Meet with your family members.  Decide who is willing to help out with your wedding and in what capacity.  Some family will be able to help financially, and some will be able to help physically.  Both are extremely helpful in deciding what your wedding might look like.

Tip #2     Decide what type of wedding you want.  Do you want an elaborate affair, or a more casual wedding reception?  Check out wedding venues so you will know approximately how much you need to set aside for your wedding budget. Read more

Wedding Arch Designs

If  you are looking for the perfect wedding arch for your  wedding ceremony, you will love some of the pictures we have gathered for you.

The arch is used as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies everywhere.  The wedding arch can be old, rustic, elaborate, or classical.

Artistry used in the Wedding Arch

I have seen vines and sticks commonly used in wedding arches, especially for Southern weddings.  Sticks and vines with some floral elements are especially beautiful.

Some beautiful arches are decorated using fabric, lighting and some stunning arches are made out of many beautiful flowers.

Arches are used for inside and outside weddings.  I particularly love arches designed for the beach, however, I have seen gorgeous Winter Wedding Arches as well.  Occasionally I have seen weddings that have gone arch crazy and created arch after arch to create a beautiful walk through.  I think you will enjoy these wedding arch ideas when creating your own wedding ideas.

Having a wedding ceremony in a church can be very special.  It can add reverence and elegance to your wedding ceremony.  If the bride or the groom’s family has special ties to the church, it can be even that much more special.  Add experienced ministers to the mix, and the wedding ceremony can go off without a hitch. The Bluffs on Broadway – Plan Your Rehearsal Dinner Here!

Rehearsal dinners have taken a bit of a back seat when it comes to planning a wedding.  Which is understandable when you’re focused on making the ceremony and reception the main focal points.  I have found an incredibly unique location for a rehearsal dinner that will absolutely wow your guests. The Bluffs on Broadway is actually a home that was originally built as a train station! In 1979, a fire destroyed it beyond repair and then was rebuilt in 1982.  The patios and decks alone cover 4,000 square feet!
