Erin and Brian — “The Proposal”
I love featuring weddings. Rarely, is there an opportunity to really tell you personal details about the couple we feature.Brian’s romantic proposal in Florida was actually photographed by a beachgoer photographing the sunset. How often does this happen? I loved their “story,” and we are sure you will too!
I asked Erin and Brian the infamous question we all love to know! “How did Brian propose?”
On the second day of our vacation in Florida, we went to dinner at Crabby Bills, and were planning to watch the sunset following dinner. Brian was insistant on visiting the same beach they had been to, and loved, two years ago, Pas-A-Grill beach. I noticed that Brian was acting a little bit strange and quiet that night.
After dinner, I suggested taking a bottle of wine to the beach for the sunset; but Brian insisted on champagne…..Hmmmmmm……..
However, at that time, I still didn’t think anything of it. We found a spot and sat down, when Brian pulled a bag out of his backpack… It was our Two-Year Anniversary, and he had gotten me a card.
There were also three little notes reading, #1, #2, and #3, in the bottom of the bag. I opened #1 and it said, “WILL”…..#2 said, “YOU”…..and #3 said, “MARRY ME?” YAY!!!
Little did we know, a fellow beachgoer, who was at the same beach photographing the sunset, actually took pics of the whole proposal. She approached us after the sunset was over and introduced herself, and asked us for one of our email addresses. She sent us the pics that she took, and it is an amazing moment by moment documentation of one of the biggest events in our lives!! How lucky are we!
