Erin and Brian — The Honeymoon!!
For the finale, but tribute to the future, I thought I would tell you how Erin and Brian met…tell you about their romantic honeymoon, and what the future holds!! It was a tradition for Brian and all of his buddies to hang out at Drunken Fish at Westport Plaza every Thursday. It was always the same bartenders….until one day, there was a new girl Bartender: Me! When Brian and his buddies arrived that night, Brian says that he knew right then that we would end up together. Three months and a lot of Thursday nights later, he finally worked up the nerve to ask for my number. Of course, I gave it to him!
Our first date was a Cardinals game…which was perfect, because we are both HUGE Cardinals fans. After that first date, we were inseparable, and still are….
Are you all going to go on a Honeymoon? As you can see, we are not about “Doing the Normal” all-inclusive resort thing. We wanted a honeymoon that allowed a little more freedom.
Brian’s dad provided us with a beachfront condo on a beach in Ft.Lauderdale for a week! We will also be spending a night in Miami Beach, as well as a night in Key West.
We are both into exploring and finding hidden gems as far as restaurants and hangouts go, so having the opportunity to drive to a few different places is definitely right up our alley!
Your Future Plans??? Do they include St. Louis??
Both of us are from here, and we LOVE St. Louis. Our amazing families are both here. We will definitely be staying! I actually graduated with my master’s in education degree, and landed an amazing job with the Rockwood School District teaching high school art classes, so that is very exciting as well. Brian has a job that he loves also, managing Cardinal Clubhouse stores. Going to the Cards games is a big part of our lives, and although we may move closer to the suburbs, we could never move too far away from the Stadium!!
We are so excited for Erin and Brian as they begin their future as Mr. and Mrs. Miller. Thank you for allowing all of us the “Inside Scoop…” You both have many exciting days ahead!
